Teachers in Antigua have entered their third day of strike <\/a><\/strong>action, causing significant disruption to exams and school schedules. The protest stems from delays in issuing promotional instruments for around 70 educators, a promise the Antigua Union of Teachers says was due by March 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With many students unable to take their exams, concern is growing among parents about the effect on academic progress. Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister, Lionel Max Hurst, has assured that the instruments will be provided by Friday, blaming the Ministry of Education for the delay.<\/p>

The government hopes that this will end the strike <\/a><\/strong>and allow students to resume exams without further interruptions.<\/p>
