A 32-year-old Jennings resident has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing a modified weapon<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steven Roberts admitted to the charge on March 26 before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel at St. John\u2019s Magistrates\u2019 Court.<\/p>

Police had searched his home on March 25, discovering a modified nail gun and two 9mm rounds. A female occupant initially charged was released after pleading not guilty.<\/p>
