The Antiguan and Barbudan Tourism\nIndustry stands to benefit tremendously from the arrival of 120 Italian\npassengers weekly via the Blue Panorama charter flight.<\/p>

This comes as a result of the\ncommencement of Vera Tour operations in the twin island state, after functioning\nin the region for the past 25 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a brief inaugural and welcome ceremony held recently at the Sir Vere Cornwall Bird International Airport, Minister of Tourism Charles Fernandez stated that the new Vera Tour Alliance will assure an approximate increase of six thousand (6000) new visitors to the island in 2019, which will in turn<\/g> bring the destination closer to surpassing current visitor arrival records.<\/p>

The Star Fish Jolly Beach Resort\nalso stands to benefit from the new arrangement with 75 rooms booked each week\nto accommodate the visitors.<\/p>

Mr. Marco Capitani Product\nDirector of Vera Tour noted that the company is \u201cexcited and sure that all of\nthe visitors will be satisfied (with the Antiguan and Barbudan product) and\nthat the number of guaranteed visitors will increase over the next year\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership will see the\nUnited Taxi Association charged with the responsibility of being the official\ntransfer agent.\n\nThe Italian Market continues to be the second\nlargest European Market for Antigua and Barbuda and has shown significant\ngrowth since the re-launch of the Blue Panorama charter flight in December\n2015.\n\n\n\n<\/p>
