Police Continue Probe Death of Female Police Sergeant<\/em><\/p>

Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of Sergeant Iyo Malone-Merchant.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sergeant Merchant was pronounced dead at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center on Friday, March 14 at 2: 21pm, as a result of an alleged gunshot wound. The incident occurred shortly after 1:30 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police Administration expresses condolences to her immediate family and colleagues as they continue to investigate the incident. <\/p>

Acting Commissioner, Mr Everton Jeffers wishes to thank all those who have been reaching out to offer condolences to her family, colleagues, and close friends on her passing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
