On Saturday, 8th<\/sup> December 2018, the Rotary Club of Antigua Sundown (RCAS) held it eighth (8th<\/sup>) Annual Signature Fundraiser Fete, of which the 100% of the net funds raised will be used to execute project<\/g><\/g> for the benefit of the Antigua and Barbuda community, more specifically the most vulnerable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year the event was hosted under the tagline \u201cThe Gift That Keeps on Giving\u201d, where patrons were asked to bring a gift for a needy child and they would have the chance to win a special prize. <\/p>

On Wednesday<\/g> December 19<\/g> 2018, RCAS President Jonah Ormond made the presentation of the gifts collected at the event to Ms. Koren Norton of the Social Services Department at the Mount St. John\u2019s Medical Center. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He indicated that the RCAS is proud and honored to be part of this initiative and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the patron who made this presentation possible and to all the sponsors who contributed to the execution of the fundraiser. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Norton was overwhelmed at the presentation and expressed\nher gratitude on behalf of the department, \u201cperfect timing\u201d, she said, we\nrecently had an event and it was so unfortunate that we couldn\u2019t accommodate\nall the children that were identified, this will surely put a smile on some\nchildren faces.<\/p>

The gifts collected will be presented to children through\nthe Social Services Department before Christmas day.<\/p>\n
