The OECS Court of Appeal has ordered the immediate release of Timothy Jackman, who was convicted in 2020 for the manslaughter of his transgender partner, Angel Joseph, in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackman, initially sentenced to 11 years and nine months, successfully appealed after his attorney, Wendel Alexander, argued that the sentencing judge made a “mathematical error” in calculating his term. <\/p>

He was briefly freed in July last year but was rearrested after prison authorities claimed his release was premature.<\/p>
