MP Richard S. Lewis has submitted a package to the Office of the Information Commissioner following unanswered Freedom of Information requests.<\/p>

On 22 February 2024, during Prime Minister\u2019s Questions, Mr Lewis asked the Prime Minister for details about the property on Friars Hill Road, which houses the Development Control Authority, the Ministry of Lands and Housing, and the Land Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 2 April 2024, he sent letters under the Freedom of Information Act 2004 to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Housing, Lands and Urban Renewal, the Ministry of Works, and the West Indies Oil Company, seeking information and documentation on the government’s rental arrangement with the Prime Minister\u2019s son.<\/p>

None of the agencies provided the information required by law. The Information Commissioner, now in receipt of Mr Lewis\u2019s letter and supporting documents, is expected to rule on the matter.<\/p>
