As Barbuda prepares for its Council Elections scheduled to take place on Wednesday 26th<\/sup> March 2025, special provisions will be made for electors in the constituency, who have not replaced their expired Voters\u2019 ID Card.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Effective Saturday 1st<\/sup> March 2025 until Election Day, the operating hours at the Registration Unit in Barbuda will be extended. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Unit will be opened from Mondays to Fridays 8:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am \u2013 1:00 pm. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Supervisor of Elections, Mr Ian S Hughes urges electors to use this time adequately to collect Voters\u2019 ID Cards, replace EXPIRED<\/strong> cards, replace lost but VALID ID <\/strong>cards (cost $100.00) and any other services that are required at the Unit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persons are being reminded that for FIRST TIME<\/strong> or NEW<\/strong> registrants, only those persons who registered up until January 31st<\/sup> 2025, will be eligible to vote in the upcoming council elections.\u00a0<\/p>
