About Chinese Migrants<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Antigua and Barbuda government<\/strong> has not ruled out <strong>taking legal action<\/strong> against <strong>News Nation<\/strong> if the U.S.-based media outlet does not <strong>retract its claims<\/strong> about the country being involved in <strong>Chinese migrant smuggling<\/strong> to the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the <strong>Post-Cabinet press briefing<\/strong>, <strong>Chief of Staff Lionel Hurst<\/strong> addressed the <strong>controversial report<\/strong>, stating that the government is prepared to However, no response has been received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hurst pointed to a <strong>previous case<\/strong> in which Antigua successfully challenged false reporting. He referenced a <strong>BBC report<\/strong> that had accused <strong>former Prime Minister Lester Bird<\/strong> of <strong>misusing Medical Benefits Scheme funds<\/strong>. The BBC later <strong>settled the matter and retracted the story<\/strong> after failing to substantiate the allegations.<\/p><div id=\"antig-3896923422\" class=\"antig-content_3
