In this case, the criticism is misplaced once again.<\/p>

The installed speed bumps on Valley Road through Jennings was not caused by Public Works but due to APUA\u2019s lack there of addressing the piping issue which requires the basic installation of fixtures by APUA<\/p>

For quite some time, we have been requesting APUA<\/a> to resolve this issue, yet they have yet to provide a reasonable solution. The speed bumps in question exist because APUA did not install the proper fittings to lower the piping, which would have allowed for a levelled surface. This is a matter that falls under their responsibility, not Public Works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before making public statements, it would be best to ensure the correct information is being shared. Infrastructure work is complex, and it\u2019s best left to the professionals who are actively working to improve the roads.<\/p>

While we do appreciate your feedback and interest, in the search to assign blame, don\u2019t forget to also highlight the hard work being done by the Ministry of Works, work that is clearly documented and shared for transparency. Progress is being made, and misdirected accusations only serve to demoralise the very people working to improve our infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will hold the right agencies accountable because getting the facts straight has been challenging, as evidenced by this post.<\/p>

Frank Southwell<\/a> SAID:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Update and APOLOGY: I wrongly blamed this engineering nightmare on the C O. Williams engineers. For that, I apologize.
This senseless culvert job on the Valley Rd through Jennings, which left two ridiculous humps, was actually done by the PWD engineers. COW’s job was to only pave their blunder.
This is so sad. A job as simple and routine as this could not be properly done by OUR engineers? Maybe someone can explain… what were they thinking of.<\/p>
