Prime Minister Gaston Browne has accused a political activist aligned with the opposition United Progressive Party (UPP) of orchestrating an online smear campaign against him and opposition leader Jamale Pringle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on Pointe FM, Browne claimed that the individual, whom he identified as a known UPP supporter, has been using multiple fake identities to publish articles and social media posts aimed at discrediting political figures. <\/p>

He suggested that the activist\u2019s strategy is to elevate UPP senator Alex Browne while attempting to undermine Pringle\u2019s leadership.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe has been writing these articles under different names, but they all trace back to the same source. If she wants to engage politically, she should do so openly instead of hiding behind fake profiles,\u201d Browne said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prime minister dismissed the criticisms leveled against him as politically motivated, adding that his administration remains focused on governance rather than social media attacks.<\/p>

His comments come amid ongoing tensions within the UPP, with reports of internal divisions and dissatisfaction with Pringle\u2019s leadership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
