Prime Minister Gaston Browne has declared that the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) is experiencing a period of renewal<\/strong>, citing record-breaking turnout in internal elections and a surge in enthusiasm among supporters.<\/p>

Speaking on Pointe FM<\/strong>, Browne described the party\u2019s recent branch elections as unprecedented<\/strong>, with some constituencies seeing hundreds of members actively participating<\/strong> in the selection of branch officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have never seen this level of engagement before,\u201d Browne said. \u201cThe Labour Party is stronger, more vibrant, and more energized than ever. Something special is happening.\u201d<\/p>

The prime minister pointed to St. George\u2019s constituency<\/strong>, where over 500 people reportedly registered<\/strong> for the branch elections, as an example of the growing momentum within the party. <\/p>

He credited the increased interest to the influx of new political talent<\/strong> and the public\u2019s recognition that ABLP is committed to renewal and progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Browne also dismissed opposition claims that his leadership is weakening, noting that he received the highest percentage of votes<\/strong> among all candidates in the last general election.<\/p>
