Prime Minister Gaston Browne has expressed confidence that the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) will reclaim the St. George constituency in the next general election, asserting that incumbent United Progressive Party (UPP) MP Algernon “Serpent” Watts is losing support among voters.<\/p>

Speaking on Pointe FM, Browne claimed that residents of St. George have “already made up their minds” to vote Watts out, arguing that the first-time MP has not delivered on his campaign promises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prime minister suggested that Watts has distanced himself from constituents and lacks a concrete plan for development.<\/p>

\u201cHe has turned his back on the people, and they have turned their backs on him,\u201d Browne stated. <\/p>
