Antigua Sailing Week, organisers, are\u00a0thrilled to announce the launch of its newest addition: the Antigua Cruising Rally. <\/p>

This inaugural event, will follow the same scheduled dates as the regatta, offering a unique experience for sailing enthusiasts who enjoy a more leisurely pace on the water while exploring the island’s\u00a0stunning landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed for sailors who prefer relaxed adventures over competitive racing, the\u00a0Antigua Cruising Rally<\/a>\u00a0provides a perfect complement to the high-energy regatta.<\/p>

Participants will embark on a carefully curated sailing journey around Antigua, experiencing the pristine coastlines,\u00a0white sandy beaches<\/a>\u00a0and secluded anchorages.<\/p>

The seven day itinerary will allow participants\u00a0to access points of the island not usually encountered during the regatta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting and ending in Falmouth and English Harbours, the week will include three beach stop offs around the island including.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

To ensure crews don’t miss out on the midweek fun, a return to Falmouth Harbour will ensure access to Reggae in the Park and\u00a0Lay Day.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The week will be a fantastic mix of blue water sailing, laid back limes and celebrations.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is\u00a0not a race, so seasoned sailors can assemble a crew of non-racing family and friends\u00a0as\u00a0this activity\u00a0is perfect for those\u00a0who want\u00a0to spend time together and cruise in company around Antigua.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Later\u00a0start\u00a0times and daily challenges on the way to the scheduled rendezvous point each evening will keep crews entertained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon arrival at your destination, you can keep the party intimate and onboard or head ashore to organised activities through the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0Plus\u00a0for those who insist\u00a0on\u00a0competition on the water, a time trial option will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0For the\u00a0participants support, a\u00a0dedicated rally team will be available offering logistical assistance, safety guidance, and local insights throughout the voyage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Antigua Sailing Week has long been synonymous with world-class racing attracting participants from across the globe, the addition of this new\u00a0Cruising Rally is to add a return to the simplicity of\u00a0 point to point sailing with relaxed beach celebrations\u00a0at\u00a0the finish each day.\u00a0\u00a0

Organisers\u00a0expressed their\u00a0commitment to inclusivity and innovation, ensuring there is something for every type of sailor in 2025 – \u201cWe are excited to welcome cruisers to join the Antigua Sailing Week family through this new rally. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event is about embracing the joy of sailing and creating unforgettable memories while celebrating the incredible beauty of the island.\u201d said Alison Sly-Adams, President of Antigua Sailing Week.

Registration<\/a>\u00a0for the Antigua Cruising Rally is now open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early registration is encouraged to secure a place in this inaugural event and to assist the organisers in their planning process.\u00a0Latest entry is 6 pm, Wednesday 23rd\u00a0April, 2025.
