Officials from the Department of the Environment joined WOTA in discussing three experimental plants operating in Antigua since 2024. The plants have exceeded expectations, producing water comparable in quality to conventional suppliers. To demonstrate this, WOTA showcased bottled samples, which Cabinet members found indistinguishable in clarity, smell, and taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With weekly quality tests and analysis in Japan, WOTA ensures high standards. Despite the cost, Cabinet explored integrating the technology into National Housing projects in Antigua and Barbuda, recognizing its potential for sustainable water management in the region.<\/p>
