NEW YORK POST: President Trump fumed on Sunday after Colombia turned back two US military flights carrying deported migrants \u2014 vowing to impose sanctions and an \u201cemergency 25% tariff\u201d on the South American country.<\/p>

\u201cI was just informed that two repatriation flights<\/a> from the United States, with a large number of Illegal Criminals, were not allowed to land in Colombia,\u201d Trump wrote<\/a> Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis order was given by Colombia\u2019s Socialist President Gustavo Petro, who is already very unpopular amongst his people,\u201d he said, adding that Petro\u2019s decision has \u201cjeopardized the National Security and Public Safety of the United States.\u201d<\/p>

In response, the president said he would enacted the \u201cemergency 25% tariffs on all goods coming into the United States,\u201d adding that it would be raised to 50% in a week.<\/p>

He also called for a travel ban, visa revocations on Colombian government officials, visa sanctions on party members and government supporters, enhanced customs and border protection inspections of any Colombian national and banking and financial sanctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
