LIAT,\u00a0says it will resume its morning and evening services to British<\/g> Virgin Islands following the suspension of flights after the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma in 2017.<\/p>

LIAT will begin<\/g> its evening service into the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport at Beef Island on December 6 with its the service departing on December 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIAT says it has been working to restore services to hurricane-affected territories as facilities have allowed and a demand for travel has returned. Chief Commercial Officer, Audra Walker expressed the airline\u2019s satisfaction in restarting these flights. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLIAT remains committed to connecting the region and we are happy now to be resuming these services to connect passengers into and out of the BVI\u201d. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

She noted there were logistical challenges in restoring these services following the devastating hurricanes and LIAT is now working to ensure passengers were able to have flight options that facilitated their schedules and easy connections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Walker also thanked the local authorities in the British Virgin Island for working with the airline to ensure the smooth reintroduction of these flights.<\/p>
