Potters Resident Faces Reduced Charges in Alleged Government Fraud Case<\/strong><\/p>

Yvonne Cornwall, a Potters resident and employee in the Government\u2019s Work Experience Programme, has had her charges reduced amid allegations of stealing over $100,000 from the government. Initially facing 15 charges, including larceny by servant and money laundering, three charges were dropped due to duplication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cornwall, out on $150,000 bail since last August, will return to court on March 11. The charges arose from an investigation by the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP), which reportedly uncovered over $300,000 in her bank account.<\/p>
