Antigua and Barbuda has been allocated $312 million for active development projects, according to the 2023 Development Partners Landscape Assessment for the Eastern Caribbean.<\/p>

The comprehensive report, produced by the United Nations Resident Coordinator\u2019s Office for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, maps ongoing development financing and its alignment with national priorities across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report highlights key contributions from international organizations. A $66 million loan from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will fund the Second Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project, enhancing the safety, efficiency, and climate resilience of the national road network.<\/p>

Additionally, a $3.4 million grant from GIZ supports the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to promote low-carbon energy and transport solutions.<\/p>

The European Union has also contributed approximately $2 million under the EUROCLIMA programme, focusing on climate change and biodiversity challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
