Prime Minister Gaston Browne has hailed the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party’s (ABLP) decisive victory in the St. Peter by-election as a \u201cmonumental achievement\u201d that reaffirms the party\u2019s strength and connection with the electorate. Speaking on Pointe FM, Mr. Browne congratulated ABLP\u2019s candidate, Rawdon Turner, for his resounding win and reflected on the significance of the outcome.<\/p>

\u201cThis was a thorough victory,\u201d the Prime Minister said. \u201cIt\u2019s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the ABLP team and the unwavering support of the people in St. Peter. Mr. Browne took the opportunity to critique the opposition United Progressive Party (UPP), which he described as being in disarray. He pointed to the absence of key UPP figures during the campaign as a sign of internal divisions and waning influence.<\/p>
