Over the Christmas break, some of our 1st-year students took on the challenge of gaining hands-on experience at various hotels and resorts across Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>

One highlight was their time at Hodges Bay Resort & Spa, where six Culinary Arts students had the opportunity to work alongside Executive Chef Stan Baxter and Executive Sous Chef Brian Abbott.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This opportunity, not typically offered to first-year students, showed just how passionate and ready they are to step into <\/a>the industry.<\/p>

As the term has just begun, we were delighted to have Chef Baxter and Chef Abbott take time out of their busy schedules to visit the students at the institute and share their gratitude along with words of encouragement.<\/p>
