The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) was among Electoral Management Bodies (EMBs), who were recognized for outstanding achievements, at the 20th International Electoral Awards & Symposium, which took place in Santo Domingo on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards ceremony is organized yearly by the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS).<\/p>

Supervisor of Elections, Mr. Ian. S Hughes and former Supervisor of Elections, Dame Lorna Simon, who was also nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award, were present on the Commission\u2019s and Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s behalf.<\/p>

Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission, His Excellency Ambassador Arthur G.B. Thomas extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Supervisor of Elections, staff and the entire Commission on receiving the prestigious Election Management Award for Outstanding Achievement in electoral work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism exhibited by all those involved in ensuring the integrity and transparency of our electoral processes. <\/p>
