Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s growing economy is driving job creation across multiple sectors, with employment opportunities widely available, according to Senator Shenella Govia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking during the Senate debate on the 2025 budget, Govia highlighted the abundance of jobs and pushed back against claims of unemployment.<\/p>

\u201cEvery day, you look in the newspapers, Facebook, social media: jobs! The hotels are looking for workers,\u201d she said. \u201cRight now, people have two and three and four and five jobs.\u201d<\/p>

The senator described the demand for labour as a direct result of economic growth, pointing to sectors such as hospitality and skilled trades where workers are in high demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
