Housing Minister Maria Browne highlighted the initiative during her 2025 Budget Debate presentation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining clean and attractive communities.<\/p>

\u201cOur beautification teams work tirelessly to keep our public spaces clean and welcoming,\u201d Minister Browne said. <\/p>

\u201cFrom clearing gutters to managing overgrown vegetation along main roads, these efforts not only improve aesthetics but also promote safety and public health.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teams have been actively engaged in trimming shrubs along major thoroughfares, flushing drains, and removing waste in heavily trafficked areas. <\/p>

These actions are complemented by expanded nursery operations, which will supply plants for landscaping projects aimed at enhancing public spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead, the Ministry plans to establish a new nursery in Barbuda by 2025 to further support beautification efforts on the sister island. <\/p>
