The Central Board of Health has responded to concerns in the\npublic about the conditions at the Mary E. Pigott Primary School.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This response comes on the heels of pictures circulating on\nsocial media of a water puddle which according to reports caused a child at the\nschool to become infected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior Public Health Inspector at CBH, Emile Floyd confirmed a\nteam from the Central Board of Health, the Ministry of Health and the Board of\nEducation visited the school last week.<\/p>

Floyd indicated that it was only last week that the Central\nBoard of Health was contacted even though the alleged incident occurred in May.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In this interview with the Communications Department at the\nMinistry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Floyd detailed the assessment\nthat was carried out by the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also listed the measures that need to be put in place by the\nBoard of Education to have the issue rectified.<\/p>
