BARBUDA MP TREVOR WALKER ANNOUNCED:Three of our own Barbudan fishermen have been missing at sea since Sunday. <\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The boat did not return home to Barbuda, prompting an ongoing search and rescue operation and an outpouring of support between local personnel and our neighbouring islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been coordinating the search effort with the Antigua & Barbuda Defense Force Coast Guard along with the Barbuda Fisheries Department.<\/p>

The search will resume tomorrow morning at 8:00am, the focus moving toward the St. Martin area.<\/p>

I would like to thank the Barbuda Council, our local fishermen, and the community here in Barbuda for mobilizing and rallying together at such a critical time as this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will not give up faith in our loved ones\u2019 safe return home to Barbuda. We are a community of strength, and we remain prayerful, resilient, and hopeful for a positive outcome despite the circumstances. God is in the midst.<\/p>
