Judges revealed for Antigua\u2019s Got Talent<\/p>

Four of the biggest names on the country\u2019s entertainment and cultural scene have been unveiled as judges at the forthcoming Antigua\u2019s Got Talent show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soca diva Claudette Peters, Director of Culture Khan Cordice, reigning Queen of Carnival Desrie Markham, and DJ and radio show host Kenny D will comprise the all-star panel.<\/p>

The third edition of the popular competition, which aims to raise crucial funds for the PAAWS animal shelter, will take place on December 14 at Lucky Eddi\u2019s in English Harbour.<\/p>

Kenny D encouraged local residents to come out in full force to support the cause and cheer on the performers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am really excited to be a part of this event because I am all about showcasing talented Antiguans and Barbudans \u2013 and I\u2019m all for supporting PAAWS,\u201d he said.<\/p>

Peters said she was very much \u201clooking forward\u201d to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The show is once again being hosted by the inimitable Ibis the Livest who said, \u201cI am so ready for this\u201d.<\/p>

A brand new 50-inch smart TV, courtesy of headline sponsor Townhouse Megastore, is up for grabs for the winner. Second prize is an overnight stay for two at the luxurious Gunpowder Suites, and third prize is Carlisle Bay day passes for two.<\/p>

Two dozen performers have now signed up to take part. There is still space for a few more who have until December 10 to register. WhatsApp 789-2662 to register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contest is open to all non-professional performers aged 16 and over, who will showcase their talent in a spectacular venue complete with professional stage, lighting and PA system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Strays will take to the stage after the show ends, to continue the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A luxury raffle with prizes including a two-night stay at South Point Hotel, dinner for two at Curtain Bluff, a personalised pet portrait by Naydene Gonnella, a wingfoil lesson with Olympian Tiger Tyson and many more will also be drawn on the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Lucky Eddi\u2019s new elevated VIP section is now complete and ready to welcome the dozens of corporate sponsors who have generously lent their support to the shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The show starts 8pm sharp. Entrance is EC$20 for adults, children free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
