Trees provide countless benefits, including preventing soil erosion and improving air quality. They also support biodiversity by offering habitats for <\/a>birds, insects, and other wildlife. Additionally, fruit trees such as mango, tamarind, and guava contribute to food security and promote a connection to the local agriculture industry.<\/p>

This Arbor Day, individuals and communities across Antigua and Barbuda are encouraged to plant trees in their neighbourhoods, backyards, or schools. Whether it\u2019s a shade tree to cool a home or a fruit tree to nourish a family, every tree planted makes a difference. For this year to commemorate Arbor Day, the Department of Environment Division will be hosting a Plant Fair from 10:00 am \u2013 4:30 pm at the Department of Environment. Join us for thrilling prize opportunities.<\/p>
