The Antigua and Barbuda National Association (UK) hosted its celebration of Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s 43rd<\/sup> Independence Day with its annual Dinner and Dance event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the guests were Hon. Daryll Matthew, Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s Minister of Education, Sports, and Creative Industries, H.E. Karen-Mae Hill, High Commissioner to the UK; and Everton George, President of the Antigua and Barbuda National Association (ABNA) who delivered speeches, honouring the resilience, achievements, and unity of the Antiguan and Barbudan diaspora in the United Kingdom.<\/p>

Minister Matthew addressed this year\u2019s independence theme \u201cFrom Community Collaboration to Global Gains\u201d, underscoring the significance of the diaspora\u2019s role in advancing Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s interests on the world stage. <\/p>

He commended the diaspora for their dedication and continued contributions, noting that their support is an invaluable asset to the nation\u2019s ongoing progress and global recognition. \u201cThe achievements of Antigua and Barbuda are a testament to the strength of our shared identity and commitment. Through collaboration we expand our influence and reinforce our presence on the global stage\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

High Commissioner H.E. Karen-Mae Hill expressed her pride in the diaspora community\u2019s commitment to Antigua and Barbuda, emphasising their role in preserving and celebrating the nation\u2019s heritage.<\/p>
