Browne highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering broader local ownership in Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s hospitality industry. The initiative includes offering affordable land parcels for development, particularly in sought-after coastal areas. Pensioners Beach, a 12\u201315-acre site, has already undergone land leveling and demarcation, with applications now open through National Housing. Browne urged residents to seize the opportunity, suggesting the land could be developed into two- or three-bedroom properties, serving both as rental income generators and personal leisure retreats.<\/p>

Shell Beach, a 40-acre expanse, is earmarked for 40 one-acre residential lots, with one larger parcel of 3\u20134 acres available for potential group projects. Browne encouraged local groups to consider developing the larger lot into a boutique condominium or hotel.
