\u201cReports suggesting that the FBI is here are simply untrue,\u201d Rodney stated during an interview on Observer Radio. \u201cWe have not reached that stage yet. Any formal involvement of international agencies, including the FBI, would be communicated directly by us, not through unverified social media posts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commissioner highlighted the harm caused by misinformation in high-profile cases, cautioning the public against relying on unconfirmed reports. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of speculation on social media, and it\u2019s unfortunate that false information is being circulated. This can be very insensitive to the family of the deceased and the wider community,\u201d he said.<\/p>

While no timeline has been set for the arrival of any international team, Rodney assured that discussions with potential partners are ongoing. Rodney appealed to the public to rely on official police updates rather than social media rumors. \u201cThis is a sensitive and serious investigation.
