I have no more words to describe my disappointment with Nikki Phoenix and her casual attempts to seek viewership and widen her audience through sensationalisng issues, often callously and with utter disregard for accuracy and integrity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nikki Phoenix is not a journalist. She needs to stop claiming that she is. She is a commentator and has always been a commentator. Her job is to give her opinion, not present verified facts in an unbiased way and present different viewpoints with balance. If Nikki Phoenix is a journalist, then my foot is a sandwich. <\/p>

The other day she disgustingly placed her target on the mother of Achazia James, for saying in the news that she didn’t know anything about an online petition about justice for her daughter, and preferred it be taken down. <\/p>

Who in their right mind makes the mother of a child victim of murder the basis for their sensational Facebook post with ridiculous emojis and all CAPs, suggesting that the woman has something to hide. How depraved and distasteful. And all for likes and views. Repulsive behaviour. She is not a journalist. She is a political commentator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I see she is spreading a completely unevdienced theory that Asot Michael who was recently found dead and whose death was classed as a homicide, was the target of a hit. It took her just a few hours to come up with and post that nonsense. A journalist? Posting claims about the motive behind someone’s killing with zero evidence and not even a day after the persons death? Does that sound like a journalist to anyone? Does that not sound more like a hack? A fringe political commentator with no decorum? <\/p>

Does she take responsibility when people run wtih and believe her nonsense and it is ultimately wrong? Does she take responsibility for injecting false nonsense into the public domain? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is as bad as Fox News where they see a stroy and literally just state their opinion about what happened and how it happened and speak as though it were fact, and then hide behind “free speech” when people come at them for misleading and dishonest nonsense.<\/p>

Nikki likes to say “I’m just asking questions”, as if that is an excuse. The question has to be a fair question with a reasonable basis. You can’t just use a question to suggest any old theory you want. <\/p>

You can’t see a murder and ask “Was it a political hit ordered by Keith Rowley?” unless there is some credible evidence you have presented or which has been presented that has suggested that. Otherwise you are just using the question to inject your baseless assumptions into the public consciousness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If someone sat down with Nikki to interview her and asked her “do you eat dog food for breakfast?” it would not be a fair question unless there was some evidence to suggest or infer that. All the question asker has really done is put an idea in people’s minds even though they had nothing to back it up. Nikki knows this. She doesn’t care for accuracy but she isn’t stupid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The when she’s called out she goes “I’M JUST ASKING QUESTIONS” and “ASKING QUESTIONS IS NOT MAKING CONCLUSIONS”. She needs to go work for Donald Trump. She’s that kind of commentator these days. And she needs to stop calling what she does journalism. She’s a political commentator. End of story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
