As the Commonwealth of Dominica celebrates the country\u2019s Forty-Sixth Anniversary of Independence today, 3 November 2024, CARICOM Secretary-General Dr Carla Barnett has recognised the country\u2019s unwavering commitment to harness its resources in pursuit of sustainable development.<\/p>

According to Dr Barnett, the leadership of the Prime Minister, the Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, in the CARICOM Quasi-Cabinet, and his efforts in the area of Labour (including Intro-Community Movement of Skills) have been critical to the integration process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Secretary-General conveyed these and other sentiments in a message to the Prime Minister, which is reflected below:<\/p>
