Browne emphasized that the deterioration of road conditions has been exacerbated by both historical oversight and recent environmental factors. \u201cNot because we have neglected them, but because they were ignored for far too long and unusual extreme weather events have taken a harsh toll,\u201d he explained, indicating that the government is fully aware of the pressing need for road improvements.<\/p>
