Antigua and Barbuda<\/strong>
A flash flood advisory is in effect for low-lying and flood-prone areas in the northern and western portions of Antigua until 3 PM today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A flood advisory means that streams, creeks, and drains may be elevated or even overflowing into streets, causing flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas; however, property damage will be minimal.<\/p>

Daytime heating, along with light winds and available moisture affecting the island at this time, is contributing to localized cloud build-ups in the northern and western portions of Antigua where moderate to heavy rainfall is occurring.<\/p>

Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services will continue to monitor the situation. Please call 463-4638 for later statements. Also, stay tuned to local radio and TV stations for the latest information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
