Barbudans Celebrate Creation of 25 New Jobs as Airport Launches<\/strong><\/p>

Barbuda is celebrating a new wave of employment opportunities following the official opening of its modern airport, a project that has already begun to benefit the island’s local economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PLH Group Project President Justin Witlshire announced during the inauguration ceremony that the airport\u2019s completion has directly led to the creation of 25 new jobs for Barbudans.<\/p>

The positions include roles in immigration, security, customs, and general airport operations, offering stable, long-term careers for the island’s residents. <\/p>

“We now have 25 new careers for Barbudans with this airport,” Wilshire said. He also highlighted additional employment opportunities on the horizon, such as the opening of an FBO (Fixed Base Operator) facility, which will create eight more jobs for Barbudans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
