They have always claimed their predecessors\nfailed the people and they would do better, they never do. They never do\nbecause a nasty of humans are involved, and these humans have the greedy gene, humans\nwho want to be dictaters. All the ALBA leaders worship socialism, a word used to\ncloak communism, socialism for the people, but do not live by the rules\nthemselves. That is only for the people whilst they all get fat, live high on\nthe hog and become obscenely wealthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it was launched, ALBA had only two member states,\nVenezuela and Cuba. The idea was hatched by Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. The\noverall plan was to capture the Latin Americas and the Caribbean Islands\ngovernments and people without using Cuba\u2019s usual route of training terrorists\nand causing guerrilla warfare to try and bring about revolution. Cuba is a\nknown Marxist-Leninist style communist state, and that is what Chavez had by\nnow introduced to Venezuela. Castro and Chavez went about forming the ALBA\norganization. Five\n\u201csocialist\u201d Latin American nations\u2013Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Ecuador, and\nCuba, with Suriname admitted to ALBA as a guest, all eventually joining the\n\u2018Pink Tide\u2019 of the 21st Century Socialism movement. The supporting institution\nof this movement, the Bolivarian Alliance (Alianza Bolivariana para Los Pueblos\nde Nuestra Am\u00e9rica), or ALBA. But caught in this same net are some of the\nCaribbean countries who are also members of ALBA, Antigua and Barbuda,\nDominica, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and\nthe Grenadines. <\/p><div id=\"antig-3649938302\" class=\"antig-content_6 antig-entity-placement\"><a href=\"https:\/\/discoverflow.co\/web\/antigua\" aria-label=\"ANU CVP Digital Broadband 1200x400_1\"><img src=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:1201\/h:401\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ANU-CVP-Digital-Broadband-1200x400_1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\"  srcset=\"https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:1201\/h:401\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ANU-CVP-Digital-Broadband-1200x400_1-1.jpg 1201w, https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:300\/h:100\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ANU-CVP-Digital-Broadband-1200x400_1-1.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:1024\/h:342\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ANU-CVP-Digital-Broadband-1200x400_1-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mlavawteztbj.i.optimole.com\/w:768\/h:256\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/antiguanewsroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ANU-CVP-Digital-Broadband-1200x400_1-1.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" width=\"1201\" height=\"401\"   \/><\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Nasty things are happening in the ALBA States, which\nare not really what one may describe as a pink tide, more like the old red tide\nof out and out communism at its very worst. Almost every one of the leaders of\nthe ALBA membership has brought their countries to their knees, brought their\ncountries to bankruptcy, or if not to the very verge of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some countries are doing reasonably OK because those\ncountries have accepted investment and technology from foreign firms and\ncountries. Cuba has attracted foreign investment and international operators in\nthe tourist industry. Saint Lucia has long had a healthy tourism industry and\nis not outwardly extreme socialist. Most tourists are from wealthy capitalist countries\nand not inclined to support countries that are socialist and more-so who are\nout and out communists. But Cuba has fared well regardless of this bias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other ALBA countries have destroyed their industrial\nand agricultural base, now looking to tourism and in some island states such as\nSaint Vincent and the Grenadines [SVG] international scrounging from more\naffluent nations, and selling of the SVG votes at the UN, mainly countries who\nneed to buy support for their dirty deeds. SVG under Gonsalves is a prostituted\nUN vote selling state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuba has been pulled out of the 20th into the 21st\ncentury by misusing their relationship with the Venezuelan leadership. Taking\noil from Cuba on beneficial terms, in return sending doctors to Venezuela,\nwhich has all but destroyed the Venezuelan indigenous doctor base. The Cubans\ncharge out their doctors services at high rates and pay those doctors cents on\nthe dollar. Cuba has a duel medical system, one deals with medical tourism with\nsuperb conditions, equipment, and doctors. The other for the people, dirty,\ndilapidated hospitals with old and broken equipment, lack of medication and\ndressings. This is the real 21st-century socialism at its best because it can\neven get worse as we see in Venezuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venezuela has destroyed everything they ever had,\nfarming and agriculture, the oil industry, light and heavy manufacturing,\ntourism, international relationships with major powers, just about anything and\neverything which in the past generated income and employment have been\ndestroyed. They have confiscated farms and manufacturers, almost all have since\nstopped producing and trading. Chavez bought billions of US dollars worth of\nmilitary equipment, war ships and craft, submarines, tanks missiles and bases,\nand so much arms and ammunition they are in the position to supply World War\nthree. The silly deal done with Russia was the pledging &nbsp;of their oil production, the arms purchases\ntied to oil at a set price, when it goes up in price the Russians take less oil,\nwhen it goes down the Russians take more. So with low prices the Russians have\nbeen able to plunder the Venezuelans main source of revenue, they have been\ntaking the major part of oil production. Venezuelan oil is dirty heavy crude\nthat requires mixing with light crude to make it workable in refineries, so the\nRussians perhaps may regret this deal in the long run. Then along comes China\nand President Maduro again pledges oil against loans. These deals have taken\nVenezuela\u2019s cash revenue stream and because of the obvious shortage of cash the\noil production infrastructure has gradually fallen apart and production is shrinking\nand coming to a standstill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venezuela\u2019s leaders, first Hugo Chavez and then after\nhis most fortunate death his appointed successor Nicolas Maduro have plundered\nthe countries treasury and treasures. Chavez\u2019s daughter is the richest woman in\nthe hemisphere after coming from a home with a dirt floor. The Generals and top\nVenezuelan military have been paid obscene amounts of money to keep the regime\nin power. Countries like Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have been laundering\nmoney for the regime and military through their offshore banking system. The\nVenezuelan State has even laundered money through SVG to pay left wing, 21<sup>st<\/sup>\nCentury Socialist Catalan Party leader money to try and bring about a Catalan\nbreakaway state from Spain. Evidence of that was previously written about at\nthe time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this time millions in Venezuela are starving\nand dying from uncontrolled and untreated disease. Millions are walking the\nlength and breadth of the country to reach borders where when crossed they are\nsafe from the murderous Cuban Black Wasp Brigade who are murdering not just\nstudents and politicians but ordinary people.&nbsp;\nNo food, no medication and no help whatsoever from the Venezuelan\ngovernment who took power though election fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To keep the other countries on their side and in line\nwith ALBA policies, the 21<sup>st<\/sup> Century Socialist experimenters in nasty\ncommunism, Venezuela, has managed to pay countries and some of the leaders\npersonally, amounts of money through PetroCaribe to support them and vote in\ntheir favour at the UN. So whilst the people starve the politicians throughout\nthe region share in the jackpot, a reward for all their help and support of one\nof the dirtiest regimes along with Castro\u2019s Cuba ever recorded in modern\nhistory.
