Seven young Barbudans began a two week training to function as Immigration Officers are the new Barbuda International Airport ahead of its October 3, 2024 opening.<\/p>

Sir Steadroy called on the trainees to be pioneers for Barbuda by ensuring the <\/a>operations of the new airport are of a high standard.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs Sen. the Hon. Knacyntar Nedd-Charles has encouraged the trainees to put their best foot forward. She advise them to take their functions seriously and to carry out their duties with integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training is being conducted by Deputy Chief Immigration Officer Mr. Nigel Emanuel and Officer in Charge of Barbuda Ms. Jo-Ann Small.<\/p>
