Caribbean and the European Union through Culture and Creativity<\/em><\/a><em>,\u00a0<\/em>implemented by the UNESCO Regional Office in Havana and\u00a0funded by the European Union,\u00a0has partnered with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiftylab.eu\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fifty Lab Music Festival\u00a0<\/a>to provide young, emerging Caribbean musicians with an opportunity to perform and engage for the first time in artistic exchange at one of Belgium&#8217;s premier alternative music events.<\/p><div id=\"antig-3429660407\" class=\"antig-content_5 the&nbsp;<em>Transcultura&nbsp;<\/em>programme:&nbsp;Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this call and joint action for cultural exchange and cooperation, the transportation\u00a0\u0336\u00a0 if required \u2013 for international travel to Brussels, Belgium, from 8 to 16 November (8 nights) for a maximum of 4 musicians from the Caribbean, representing at least two of the three linguistic zones covered by the\u00a0<em>Transcultura\u00a0<\/em>programme (English, French and Spanish), in the following categories:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saxophone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trumpet\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Percussion set (<em>Bat\u00e1<\/em>\u00a0drums; miscellanea, shakers,\u00a0<em>botija<\/em>, conga drums,\u00a0cymbals, bembe\/bemba drums)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Piano and keyboard<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhance the international exposure of the young Caribbean musicians and showcase their talent through international presentations in the framework of a major European festival, while identifying further opportunities for collaboration between them and European artists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the artists\u2019 international visibility through press conferences, activities promoting their work, distributing their music albums and networking with their
