The Elkhorn Marine Conservancy (EMC), in collaboration with Splashing With Clashing Swim Instruction, concluded its second annual Adult Swimming Program on Sunday 1st September.<\/p>

The program, which spanned three weekends, saw eleven participants complete a series of learn-to-swim classes, culminating in a snorkel excursion to explore EMC\u2019s coral reef restoration site off the coast of Green Island.<\/p>

\u201cThe adult swimming program was truly life-changing. Over three weeks, I learned to swim with a supportive group, feeling safe and guided every step of the way\u201d says Zoe Teague, one of the students from this year\u2019s program. <\/p>

\u201cThe experience was intense but incredibly rewarding, and seeing my progress in such a short time was amazing. The highlight was deepening my connection to nature by exploring the coral nurseries and learning about EMC\u2019s work. This program has opened up a whole new world for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
