The tremor was recorded at 4:43 a.m. local time (08:43 UTC), with an epicenter approximately 52 kilometers northwest of Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quake’s coordinates were pinpointed at latitude 17.54N and longitude 62.04W, with a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface. <\/p>

The seismic activity was also noted near other regional cities, including Basseterre in Saint Kitts and Nevis, situated 81 kilometers northeast, and Brades in Montserrat, 85 kilometers north-northeast of the epicenter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
