ABEC works extensively to address connectivity issues amidst Expired Voter\u2019s ID Card Replacement Process<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

St. John\u2019s Antigua: Thursday 15th<\/sup> August 2024: <\/strong>The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) wishes to advise that there are still some Registration Units that are experiencing technical connectivity issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commission is currently in dialogue with technicians from our Election Management System (EMS) provider, the Canadian Bank Note (CBN), to resolve the challenges soonest, in efforts to facilitate a consistent flow to the Expired Voter\u2019s ID Card Replacement Process.<\/p>

Currently, the following Registration Units are still affected:<\/p>

St. John\u2019s City South<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s Rural West<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

St. John\u2019s Rural South<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

St. Mary\u2019s North<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Mary\u2019s South<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Saints East & St. Luke<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Saints West<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. George<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Philip South<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Paul<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbuda<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In spite of the issues identified, a total of 702 persons have applied as of Wednesday 14th<\/sup> August 2024 to replace their Voter\u2019s ID Cards. ABEC apologies for any inconvenience caused and ask that the public continue to exercise patience at this time.<\/p>\n
