GOVERNMENT OF ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA MINISTRY OF EDUCATION ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA BASIC EDUCATION PROJECT II (BEPII) Computer Systems for Irene B. Williams Secondary School, Invitation for Bids The Government of Antigua and Barbuda (GOAB) has secured financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of the Basic Education Project II (BEPII) and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under this contract.<\/p>

Payment by CDB will be made only at the request of GOAB and upon approval by\u00a0CDB,and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than GOAB shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing.<\/p>

The\u00a0BEPII\u00a0Project is being implemented by the Ministry of Education through its Planning Unit. The overall objective of the project is improved access, quality and effectiveness of early childhood development and basic education in Antigua and Barbuda.<\/p>

The Ministry of Education, Planning Unit, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Antigua and Barbuda Basic Education Project II (BEPII): Computer Systems for Irene B. Williams Secondary School. Eligible countries are member countries of CDB. Computer Specifications may be obtained from the address below at no cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, the document can be downloaded from the website listed below. Submissions in sealed envelopes clearly marked \u201cBid for the Antigua and Barbuda Basic Education Project II (BEPII) Irene B. Williams Secondary School\u201d, must be received at the address below not later than\u00a02:00pm\u00a0on Wednesday 24th\u00a0October,\u00a02018. Bid opening will take place immediately after the deadline for submission at the first address below.<\/p>
