St. Vincent Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves expressed optimism about LIAT 2020 potentially operating flights to his country, despite the airline’s initial routes not including St. Vincent and the Grenadines.<\/p>

Gonsalves, speaking to the St Vincent Times, mentioned that while he lacks specific details about LIAT 2020’s plans for SVG, he expects representatives to visit Kingstown for discussions soon. \u201cI had informal talks with the CEO during the CARICOM meeting, and they are expected to visit us for further discussions,\u201d he said, adding that he welcomed the airline and assured them of cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He believes the airline’s limited fleet is a factor in its current route limitations, noting that LIAT 2020 seems to be systematically expanding its services.<\/p>

LIAT 2020 recently resumed flights on the Antigua\/St. Lucia route and plans to expand to Barbados, Grenada, Dominica, and St. Kitts & Nevis, with further expansion to 11 new destinations in September.
