MOA- Minister Smith and Permanent Secretary Christopher held meeting with Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries staff by Carol-Faye Bynoe-George<\/strong><\/p>

Today, Monday 22nd July, after brief introductions and hand-over by Miss Sandra Joseph, former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. Minister Anthony Smith newly appointed Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Lands and Blue Economy and Mr. Walter Christopher, the ministry\u2019s newly appointed Permanent Secretary held an inaugural <\/a>meeting with the heads of departments within the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the deliberation it was disclosed that the Mr. Walter will be taking a leave of absence due to the passing of his mother and will resume active duty from 12th August.<\/p>

The heads all extended condolences to the new Permanent Secretary.<\/p>
