The future of soca music in the twin island state is looking brighter than ever, as 26 of the season\u2019s best soca artists battled it out at the ARG on Friday night in the Inet Party Monarch Semi Finals. With only 14 spots available to go up against the reigning uptempo Party Monarch , Empress, the competition was fierce.<\/p>

One notable absence from this year’s Party Monarch Finals will be soca diva Claudette “CP” Peters, as it was announced last night that she would not be defending her groovy party monarch title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After much anticipation, the finalists for the Inet Party Monarch competition have been announced. The artists who made the cut are Tian Winter, Buttaz, Young Voice, Sammie C, DJ Who, Kid Fresh, Ge’Eve, Island Prince, Queen Thaila, Soca Villian, Raine, Drastic, Tammy, and Kimmy.<\/p>

It is worth mentioning that prior to the official announcement, a fake list of finalists was circulating on social media, causing confusion among fans. However, the true finalists have now been confirmed and the excitement is building for the upcoming event.<\/p>
