Four People in Custody for Firearm and Ammunition<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four people are in police custody assisting with investigations, after they were found in possession of firearms and ammunition.<\/p>

The police executed a search warrant at a business place at Newfield around 7:00 am on Wednesday, and seized several firearms and ammunition. Four persons were taken into custody as a result.<\/p>

\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This major operation is one of several heightened security measures being implemented by the police to rid the streets of illegal firearms and ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The public is urged to continue supporting the efforts of the police as they work toward keeping Antigua and Barbuda safe. Further investgations are ongoing into the matter.<\/p>
