Prime Minister Gaston Browne has expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm following an extraordinary voter turnout in the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) primary held in St. Phillip\u2019s North. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The voter participation in the primary was notably high, with registrants, net of claims and objections, exceeding 900 voters.<\/p>

This figure represents a significant increase of 300 participants, or 50 percent more than the 615 votes garnered by the United Progressive Party (UPP) candidate in the 2023 General Elections.<\/p>

In his statement, Prime Minister Browne praised the community’s active involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He remarked, \u201cAn extremely impressive voter participation in the ABLP primary in St. Phillip\u2019s North. Registrants, net of claims and objections, exceeded 900 voters.
