The Traffic Department of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has reported a significant increase in traffic collisions from January to May this year compared to the same period last year. <\/p>

Superintendent Elson Quammie urges the public to adhere to road rules and stay vigilant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In 2023, we had 965 collisions between January and May. This year, we recorded 1,089 collisions, a 13% increase,” Quammie stated. Additionally, injuries from road accidents have nearly doubled, with 194 people injured this year compared to 108 last year.<\/p>
