St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda – June 21, 2024<\/strong> – Prime Minister Gaston Browne recently praised Antigua Distillery Limited, one of the nation’s oldest institutions, for its enduring success and commitment to quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His commendation came during a presentation of a special bottle of rum from the company where he highlighted the company’s significant contributions to the local and international spirits industry.<\/p>

“I want to take the opportunity to commend Anthony and the other directors and shareholders of Antigua Distillery Limited for its continued sustainability and success,” said Prime Minister Browne. <\/p>

“The distillery continues to produce very fine spirits, including rum, and I am very happy to be the recipient of this token representing 90 years of delivering a fine product, not only in Antigua and Barbuda but to the broader Caribbean and internationally.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antigua Distillery Limited is renowned for its flagship product, English Harbour rum, which has garnered numerous awards for its exceptional taste. <\/p>

The Prime Minister emphasized the global recognition of the brand, stating, “English Harbour rum has won numerous prizes for its fine taste. It is regarded as one of the finest rums you\u2019ll find anywhere in the world.
